Class Information
Educational classes at HMQS 2009 are going to be outstanding! These classes will give a boost to your educational experience. There are over 100 classes from national educators on all phases of machine quilting, embroidery, piecing, fabric dyeing, embellishment, quilt finishes, tool use and much, much more! Hands-on classes are a special feature and fill up fast, so get your class registration in early.
Classes run from Wednesday May 6 through May 9, 2009, beginning at 8:00 A.M.
Just a reminder- Classes held on Wednesday, May 6 will be numbered
100’s, Thursday, May 7 will be numbered 200’s, Friday, May 8
will be numbered 300’s and Saturday, May 9, numbered 400’s.
Domestic Sewing Machines will be provided for all hands on classes which include Bernina, Pfaff and Husqvarna Viking.
Longarm hands on classes will feature the Handi Quilter HQ 16 quilting machines.
Catalogs and online class information will be available October 22, 2008.
Class registration begins November 15, 2008
- Confirmations can be faxed to (801) 295-7975 (credit cards only) or mailed to HMQS ‘09, 869 East 725 South, Centerville, UT 84014
- Confirmations will be e-mailed or mailed after the class registration is processed.
- Class additions to registration can be made until April 30, 2009.
- Any registration form received after April 25, 2009 will be assessed a $10 late registration fee.

Edits & Updates to Printed Class Catalog:
- Class #208 by Carmen Geddes is a hands-on, not demo/lecture.
- Page 42 of the catalog shows class project pictures. Sarah Tucker's Quilted Victorian Crazy Patch Bag photo is mixed up with Gayle Wallace's New York Beauty With Style quilt photo. The correct pictures are found next to the class descriptions on page 44 of the catalog.
- The e-mail address on the Quilting at the Lake ad (page 4) is incorrect. It should be QAL9000@citlink.net.
