Description:

Do you fall asleep at night and dream of tiny worms crawling all over you? How about being chased by a 10,000 piece jigsaw puzzle? It seems quilters who do lots of stippling suffer from these strange visions! How about chasing some of those scary dreams away by learning new, exciting background quilting designs that you can quilt freehand? You'll discover how to quilt butterflies, stars, chocolate swirls, prairie grass, bows, western spurs, and many more, all without having to mark your quilt. During class we'll stitch a sampler of all the designs and one lucky student will take it home, but everyone takes home the pattern to recreate at home. Plan on having fun learning these techniques, and discover how to look around you for designs that you ignored before.

Students should bring a notepad and pencil for sketching, or dry-erase board and marker
