Description:

Got a whole shelf full of great specialty threads and can't make them run?

Well, this is the class that you have been waiting for! Nancy will be covering thread constructions, and how they affect the sewability of the threads. Thread sizing is mish mash of unrelated numbers. Find out what they really mean. Also included is a comprehensive chart of currently available threads and their respective sizes.

Next comes needles. See what all the hoopla is about with the new multi-directional needles and why we want to use them. We will discuss the titanium vs. chrome issues as well as the SAN 11 and SAN 6 needles. Learn how to match the correct needle and thread sizes for best sewing results.

There will be plenty of time for questions and answers, as well as lots of hand-outs and samples.
