HMQS 2005 WILL BE APRIL 21ST Ų 23RD

Salt Lake City , (May 4, 2004) On the heels of the huge success of the first-ever Home Machine Quilting Show (HMQS) in April 2004, the Home Machine Quilting Association is proud to announce the dates for HMQS 2005, set for Thursday, April 21 st through Saturday, April 23 rd at the South Towne Exposition Center in Sandy, Utah.

Show management is also pleased to announce that online exhibitor registration will be available as early as June 15 th of this year. This means that organizations interested in booth space at HMQS 2005 can go online to the event web site at www.hmqs.org to register via an electronic contract, and to view a live, instantaneously-updated floor plan.

„To my knowledge, we are the first quilt show to offer online vendor registration, and that sets us apart as offering a higher level of service for our exhibitors. Each exhibitor has the opportunity to view for themselves which booth spots are available, and where their őcompetition' has chosen booths. Exhibitors can feel confident that they have secured the optimum spot for their needs on the show floor,š says Jennifer Pond, Director of Public Relations & Marketing for Bruno Group Signature Events, the HMQS Event Management Team.

Over 3,000 attendees from all over the nation participated in the 2004 show where they enjoyed more than 200 colorful, machine-quilted quilts in the judged quilt display, learned at the feet of experts at the free demonstration area, viewed the magnificent Last Supper quilt and took classes from 17 of the nation's top machine-quilting instructors. The show boasted nearly 100 exhibitor booths, featuring the latest in machine-quilting tools, patterns, systems, frames, ideas and fabrics.

„We have received an overwhelming response of positive feedback about HMQS 2004. Exhibitors and attendees can expect an even more outstanding show in 2005,š says Ann Collet, Founder of HMQS and President of the Home Machine Quilting Association.

Exhibitors are welcome to register for booth space between now and June 15 th by filling out and faxing in the contract, available for download on the event web site (www.hmqs.org). Instructor applications and sponsorship kits are also currently available online.
