I can remember watching my mother sew garments on an old treadle machine that had been my grandmother's and being fascinated by the process. I started sewing doll clothes at an early age and quickly moved on to sewing my own clothes. After that, I moved on to complete garment construction for customers and for years I did extensive alterations at an upper-end women's clothing store. I owned and operated a computerized embroidery business prior to purchasing my first Gammill quilting machine. As you can probably tell, I have loved working with fabric, on a variety of sewing machines, for as long as I can remember. I love quilting and thoroughly enjoy quilting for customers, seeing the variety of their creativity and being a part of the completion process. I especially love teaching longarm quilting. I enjoy the enthusiasm and excitement that the new quilters have about their new equipment and new business opportunities. It is especially gratifying when they have completed my class and are ready to quilt for customers with newfound confidence and extensive information under their belt.
