Linda Taylor, Melissa, Texas

Linda is a highly-awarded longarm machine quilter whose work has been displayed at many venues across the U.S., and published in several quilting magazines and books. Linda has been quilting for over 20 years, and is well known and respected as one of the innovators of the art of longarm machine quilting. She has won numerous quilting awards at the IQA, AQS and NQA international quilting shows. Most recently, she won 1st place in the International Quilt Festival 2002 for the third year in a row. Linda also won Best Machine Workmanship (Wall) in the American Quilters Society Show 2002, and has taken two Best of Show awards at MQS.

Linda has appeared on television programs with Alex Anderson, Shar Jorgensen, Georgia Bonesteel and Donna Wilder, and now has her own PBS television show called "Linda's Longarm Quilting." She has produced seven how-to-videos and four books on longarm techniques. Linda is also the author of The Ultimate Guide to Longarm Quilting, published by C&T Publishing Company. Linda currently owns and operates a retreat center for longarm quilters in Melissa, Texas, called Linda's Electric Quilters where she teaches her innovative methods to thousands of students from all over the world.
