2013 Quilt Competition Judges

Elizabeth Spannring
La Center, WA

Elizabeth has been actively involved with quilting since 1992. In 2002 she judged her first quilt show and has judged over 50 quilt competitions throughout the U.S. and Canada. She holds judging certifications with the National Quilting Association and the Canadian Quilters Association / ACC. Elizabeth feels her experience as a competition quiltmaker and an international quilt instructor have helped her to stay up-to-date with the new methods and techniques of today's quilt artists. While evaluating a quilt her objective is to encourage the quilter to improve and expand their artistry, creativity and expertise in their preferred medium.
